Sanne Weekers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hydrogen energy sector, business development, and project management. Originally from the Netherlands, Sanne moved to Sydney nearly five years ago to work for Tesla Energy. Now a permanent resident of Australia, she resides in Mosman with her fiancé.

Sanne has built a robust career, most notably as a Senior Business Development Executive at LAVO, a metal hydride storage company. In this role, she led strategic pilot projects, conducted comprehensive feasibility studies, and established key partnerships, demonstrating her expertise in managing complex hydrogen projects. Her collaborations with companies like Nedstack and Ampcontrol introduced PEM fuel cells to the Australian mining sector, highlighting her ability to adapt technology for demanding environments.

Her experience spans across various fuel cell and electrolyser brands, such as Enapter and SinoHy Beijing, equipping her with the knowledge to guide diverse hydrogen teams and projects effectively. Sanne has also been instrumental in developing and executing numerous projects across sectors, including renewable energy, mining, gas, agriculture, and telecommunications.

Currently, Sanne is the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Photon Energy Group, a global renewable energy EPC. In addition to her role, she is involved in introducing European EV financing companies to the Australian market.

Sanne is passionate about advancing renewable energy and clean hydrogen infrastructure. She is eager to contribute to National Hydrogen Limited’s mission to address global waste, energy, and climate challenges through innovative technologies.
